Source: A picture showing President Emmerson Mnangagwa and the First Lady Auxillia Mnanagwa and Vice President Kembo Mohadi leading a National Day of Prayer on October 21, 2019, went viral with social media users claiming it was taken during the National Day of Prayer and Fasting held on June 15, 2020, at the State House. 

The social media users claimed the presidium had defied the social distancing regulations and not wearing face masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

As of June 15, the country had 387 confirmed cases, 54 recoveries and 4 deaths.
