More water woes for Byo residents

Bulawayo City Council (BCC) has advised residents of interruption of water supplies to some suburbs on Wednesday due to maintenance works.

This will interrupt water supplies to Khumalo, Suburbs and Parklands residential areas.

Residents are currently experiencing a 96-hour water-shedding programme due to the low water levels at the city supply dams.

In a statement, Bulawayo Town Clerk, Christopher Dube said the interruption will last the from 8 am till 4 pm.

“The City of Bulawayo would like to advise members of the public that it will be carrying out maintenance works on the main feeder to Khumalo, Suburbs and Parklands residential areas.

 “The works will be carried out on Wednesday, 18 December 2019 between 08:00 and 16:00 hours. This will result in an interruption of water supplies to Khumalo, Suburbs and Parklands, Ascot Shopping Centre and Holiday Inn,” said Dube.
