Amina Jassinta Jessub Arab, 47, Dyonne Tanaka Tafirenyika, 28, and Noreen Jessub, 51, have re-applied for bail at the Bulawayo Regional Court after being denied bail by a lower court last month.
Arab is the mother of Collin Mnangagwa’s second wife, Kelsea Tafirenyika, while Tafirenyika and Jessub are her daughter and relative, respectively.
The three appeared before Bulawayo Regional Magistrate Sibonginkosi Mnkandla on Friday, with their lawyer, Brezhnev Mathonsi, telling the court that they were making the application under changed circumstances.
The bail hearing has been set for 16 September 2026.

The trio were arrested at a lodge in Bulawayo’s Ilanda suburb.
According to the State, police searched their rooms and allegedly recovered two sachets of cocaine worth ZiG9,000 from Jessub’s room. The drugs were allegedly hidden inside a shoe.
Two sachets of cocaine were also allegedly found in Arab’s room, concealed in a small bag.
In Tafirenyika’s room, police allegedly found a sachet of crystal meth, another sachet of cocaine and US$53,055 in cash.
During their previous bail application, the prosecution opposed their release, arguing that the evidence against them was overwhelming and that they were flight risks.
The State also argued that the cash allegedly recovered from Tafirenyika’s room could be proceeds of crime because its source could not be accounted for.
The three were denied bail last month when they first applied before a lower court.
