Zimbabwe to end traditional broadcasting in push for digital sovereignty

In today’s bulletin, Zimbabwe says it is ending the era of traditional, passive broadcasting and moving towards a strategy of digital sovereignty aimed at protecting the country’s data and media space from foreign technology companies. Africa CDC chief Jean Kaseya warned that the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo could become the worst in history if it is not contained quickly.
