ZANC warns of health crisis at Bulawayo’s overloaded Ngozi landfill

In today’s bulletin, the Zimbabwe African National Congress has raised concern over the deteriorating state of Bulawayo’s Ngozi Mine Landfill, warning it poses a growing environmental and public health risk. At least 35 kidnapped villagers have been killed in Nigeria’s northern Zamfara state despite ransom payments, local officials said. The attack occurred in March when armed gangs, locally known as bandits, abducted 56 people from Banga village in Kauran Namoda area.
