Urgent appeal: 15-year-old boy needs funds for leg surgery

A 15-year-old boy from St. Joseph, Maphisa, needs financial assistance to undergo surgery at United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH) after falling from a tree and fracturing his leg.

The teenager, who was orphaned at an early age, is being raised by an elderly widow from Maphisa.

Following the incident, the guardian of the minor said the hospital requires at least US$350 to purchase metal that would be implanted into his leg.

“The hospital needs US$350.00 to buy the metal and perform the surgery. But we are stuck now because we do not have the money. The required metal is supposed to be bought by Tuesday evening so that the surgery can be done on Wednesday,” said Clement Malaba, who spoke to CITE.

Those who are willing to assist can reach Malaba at +263 7 72318443.
