Three schoolchildren were seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle driven by an 81-year-old woman in Bulawayo’s Hillside suburb on Monday afternoon, police have said.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Dundee Drive and Hamilton Road at around 3:30pm.
The three pupils, all aged 16, were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Bulawayo police spokesperson, Inspector Nomalanga Msebele, said the elderly woman was driving a Honda CR-V northbound along Dundee Drive when the incident occurred.
