Leadership clash: School Development Committee member locks Lupane school gates.

In today’s edition, A member of the School Development Committee at Emlonyeni Primary School in Lupane, Matabeleland North, locks the school gates over a dispute with the School Head. More than 600 people were forcibly deported from Libya to Niger, in what is believed to be one of the greatest expulsions from the north African country to date. The Chad public prosecutor has alleged that the failed attempt on the presidential compound was carried out by a group of two dozen armed “ill-intentioned individuals” who were neutralised by security forces, although the specifics of the incident are unknown.
