Imbizo Primary receives major donation to support learning and fight drug abuse

In this edition of The Brief Bulletin, A community development group in Matabeleland North, the Mgiqwa Development Organisation, donated learning materials and equipment worth 26,000 rand to Imbizo Primary School to support education and help keep youth away from drugs. Guinea-Bissau has a long history of coups, with at least nine attempts since 1974. When military officers claimed power last Wednesday—after gunfire near the presidential palace, the arrest of President Umaro Sissoco Embaló, and a televised announcement—many observers were sceptical.
