Churches called to take action on addressing Gukurahundi Genocide.

In today’s bulletin, Churches in Zimbabwe are criticized for failing to push the government to address the Gukurahundi massacres, Rev. Motsi highlighted that fear of government retaliation has left many churches hesitant to act. While some churches and individuals in affected regions have advocated for justice, others remain passive. Rwanda-backed M23 rebels in the Democratic Republic of Congo have seized the key eastern trading town of Minova, just 40km from the provincial capital, Goma, near the Rwandan border. South Korea’s transport ministry will remove a concrete embankment at Muan International Airport following Jeju Air’s deadliest domestic air disaster on December 29. The crash, which killed 179 people, is under investigation, with experts suggesting the embankment may have worsened the impact.
