Bulawayo’s water crisis worsened by unresolved leaks.

In today’s bulletin, Bulawayo is facing a worsening water shortage as drying supply dams and delays in fixing leaks lead to significant losses of treated water. City council records show 188 unresolved leaks last month, raising concerns over wasted resources. Rescue teams claim that all illegal workers (78 bodies and over 200 survivors) believed to be trapped underground at a South African gold mine have been rescued. Three Chinese nationals were found guilty of illicit actions related to the artisanal mining industry and sentenced to seven years in jail by a Congolese court after they were apprehended in possession of gold bars and $400,000 in cash.
