Bulawayo councillors push for local firms to get priority in city tenders.

In today’s bulletin, Bulawayo councillors have urged the city council to adopt procurement policies that give preference to local companies when awarding municipal tenders. At least 49 people died from thirst in a remote area of the Sahara Desert in northern Niger after their truck broke down while they were returning from a Muslim festival in Mali.
