Bekezela, Berita headline KingdomBlue 6th anniversary celebrations

Afro-Soul star, Bothwell “Bekezela” Nkomo, Berita Khumalo, Zahara among other artistes will on Saturday take part in the sixth anniversary celebrations of KingdomBlue Life Insurance company based in South Africa, CITE has learnt.

KingdomBlue whose CEO— Brilliant Ncube is a Zimbabwean businessman based in South Africa is known for sponsoring Matabeleland Entertainment News( MEN) based in South Africa which annually presents  Dr Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo celebrations through arts. 

Hosted by Nceku and Mbo Mahocs, the event will be live-streamed on KingdomBlue Facebook page, ZimboLive TV and will see artistes—Freddy Gwala, Nox, Musa, Lawi, Platform One, Simba CI, Nick Soul, Willom Tight take part. 

KingdomBlue Sales and Marketing Manager, Admire Mongezi Mpofu said they have invited various artists to perform live as part of their celebrations.

“We have invited different artistes to come and celebrate the day with us. We are a company which has clients all over Africa, especially in the SADC region. We saw it fit that during this celebration, we reflect diversity and cultures as seen in our artistes’ lineup.

“We will be celebrating our milestone in the corporate world. We are celebrating six years of trust, six years of excellency and royalty and also a celebration of touching lives,” he said.

Mpofu said the event will go digital as most artistes have resorted to online performances, a platform which has seen artistes connect with their music followers during this ongoing lockdown due to Covid-19 pandemic which has killed a lot of people globally.

“We will go digital and the celebrations will be live-streamed on our Facebook Page and other supporting platforms such as the social network pages for the artistes we have engaged with.

“In difficult times, like losing a loved one we want our people to have peace of mind that they won’t worry about financial constraints on how they going to bury their loved ones. Our insurance covers all aspects of life like legal, investment, education,” Mpofu added.
