In today’s bulletin, The Zimbabwe Peace Project (ZPP) says alleged police torture was among the most serious human rights concerns recorded in Matabeleland South Province in June. Uganda has begun an emergency food relief programme after at least 19 people died from hunger in the drought-stricken Karamoja region.
