Zimbabwe’s new mothers forced to pay for ‘free’ health cards.

In todays edition of The Brief Bullettin, new mothers in Harare are struggling to obtain free Child Health Card for their babies, which a crucial document for tracking vaccinations and medical history. Nearly 70,000 South Africans, primarily from the Afrikaner community, have shown interest in relocating to the U.S. after Washington’s offer to resettle them, according to the South African Chamber of Commerce in the USA (Saccusa). Police in Punjab, India, detained hundreds of farmers and used bulldozers to dismantle their protest camps near the Haryana border, where they had been demonstrating for over a year for better crop prices.
