Catholic Bishops condemn Government over corruption and economic hardship.

In todays edition of The Brief Bulletin; Zimbabwe’s Catholic bishops have condemned the government’s handling of political and economic affairs, warning that corruption, poverty, and poor priorities are driving the country into crisis. Rwanda criticized Canada’s stance on the conflict in eastern DR Congo as “shameful” after Ottawa announced sanctions against Kigali. Kelly Smith, the mother of missing six-year-old Joshlin, is on trial in South Africa for allegedly orchestrating her daughter’s kidnapping. She, along with her boyfriend Jacquen Appollis and their friend Steveno van Rhyn, was arrested after Joshlin vanished in February last year in Saldanha Bay.
