ZNCC Byo chapter elects new committee
The Bulawayo chapter of the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC), has elected a new committee to spearhead the affairs of one of the oldest business associations in the country.
The elections held Wednesday during the chamber’s annual general meeting held in the city saw Bulawayo businessman, Louis Herbst of BIT-BAG emerging the new chairperson for the branch.
Herbst, who takes over from Brighton Ncube of BNCA who remains an ex-officio as immediate past chairperson, will be deputised by Francis Mangwendeza of Asphalt Products.
The other committee members are Beauty Bulu, Mackenzie Dongo, Charles Chiponda, Tshidzanani Malaba, and Raphael Chitrin, an honourary member.
The chapter also went on to nominate current ZNCC vice president, responsible for Matabeleland, Golden Muoni, for the national deputy president post, while Wellington Themba Chinembiri was elected regional vice president.
“We had a successful Annual General Meeting yesterday, thanks to the members who spared their time through their busy schedules to be part of the very most important meeting in the ZNCC chamber calendar,” said regional manager, Mduduzi Ncube in a brief statement.
