Zanu-PF youth leader Pupurai Togarepi was reportedly involved in an accident when the vehicle he was travelling in hit a cow in Gweru.
According to a party official, Togarepi was a passenger when the accident occurred at Lalapansi some few kilometres before Gweru Town.
They were travelling towards Bulawayo for the official opening of the Zanu-PF conference in Esigodini, Matabeleland South on Friday.
“He was involved in an accident in the afternoon but is out of danger. The driver is the one who sustained some injuries,” said the official.
Efforts to get a comment from Zanu-PF spokesperson Simon Khaya Moyo were fruitless
