An 18-year-old student from Filabusi, Silalatshani area under Chief Sibasa in Insiza South District, is appealing for a scholarship to pursue university education after attaining outstanding results at A-Level.
Bongani Ncube scored 20 points, earning four A grades in Mechanical Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Pure Mathematics.
Ncube attended Mawaba Primary School before completing his secondary education at Sizane High School. He hopes to study Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Zimbabwe.
“I am seeking assistance in the form of a university scholarship so that I can pursue my desired career in electronics engineering,” said Ncube.
His mother, a single parent and a teacher by profession, said the family has faced significant challenges since the death of Bongani’s father in 2016, when he was in Grade Four.
