Police in hunt for maid who abducted employer’s child
Police in Bulawayo are on the hunt for a live-in maid who allegedly abducted her employer’s son on Monday.
Bulawayo acting police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Nomalanga Msebele said the suspect identified as Kimberly Ncube (19) was employed as child minder to a 1 year 8 month old child in Paddonhurst suburb.
She took advantage of her employer’s absence and fled with the child and her employers’ vehicle and has not been accounted for since Monday.
“Police in Bulawayo are looking for Kimberly Ncube, a female adult aged 19, she was employed as a maid in Paddonhurst, Bulawayo. She was left alone looking after the employer’s 1 year eight months old son. She took advantage of the employer’s absence who had gone to work and she stole the white sedan BMW 328I registration number AEA8833 which was parked in the garage,” said Assistant Inspector Msebele.
“She also took the motor vehicle’s documents and also kidnapped the 1 year eight months old son and disappeared with him.”
Assistant Inspector Msebele said they suspect that she was assisted by her boyfriend.
