A Moroccan startup, Moldiag has begun developing mpox tests as the Mpox epidemic persists. This year, Africaโs Centres for Disease Control and Prevention recorded almost 59,000 mpox cases and 1,164 deaths across 20 nations. Prosecutors at the International Criminal Court requested on Monday that judges find two individuals accused of leading Christian-dominated militias in attacks on Muslims in the Central African Republic in 2013 and 2014 guilty of all allegations. The National Human Rights Defence Network reports that at least 110 individuals, largely elderly, have been brutally murdered by gang members in Haitiโs capital, Port-au-Prince.
