Residents from Njube confirmed that there was no sign of soldiers in the area or at the local shops.
Source: A video has emerged on social media claiming soldiers are on the rampage in high density suburbs such as Old Lobengula, Njube, Mabuthweni, Old Pumula, Pelandaba and Lobengula Extension and are invading local shops and urging residents to loot.

Background: The video clip was taken near Sekusile Shopping Centre in Nkulumane during the 2019 Zim Shutdown protests that took place from the 14th to the 16th of January. The voice-over claims the video was taken in Njube on the 16th of June 2020.
This morning police and soldiers manning roadblocks on the main roads leading to the city centre were turning away people. Most people had to walk back home.
