Bulawayo man convicted after pointing gun at baby and threatening child with axe during robbery

In this bulletin, A 43-year-old man, Trust Nkomo, has been convicted by Bulawayo Provincial Magistrate Themba Chimiso for his role in an armed robbery in which he allegedly pointed a gun at a three-month-old baby and threatened a four-year-old child with an axe. Residents of Minna, Nigeria, protested after 33 detainees died while in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) following raids on suspected illegal gold mines.
