Ingwebu Breweries accused of withholding payments from farmers and employees

In today’s stories making headlines, Ingwebu Breweries is under growing pressure as sorghum contract farmers in Bubi district say they are still owed significant payments for grain delivered last year, while some employees report going months without pay. Dozens of people were killed in a violent attack on two villages, Nuku and Woro, in Kwara State, Nigeria. Gunmen burned homes, shops, and the traditional leader’s residence, forcing residents to flee.
