Government bans police officers from using cell phones whilst on duty.

The Zimbabwean government has banned Zimbabwe Republic Police officers from using their cell phones whilst on duty. The instruction comes just days after two police officers were arrested after a video went viral on social media exposing them taking bribes from public transport vehicles. Nigerian President Bola Tinubu orders that all juveniles jailed during anti-government protests in August be released and the treason accusations against them withdrawn.
