President Mnangagwa’s necktie has been auctioned off for $15 000 at the CEO Africa Round Table in Victoria Falls today by Gary Thompson.
The proceeds will go to a public hospital in Victoria Falls. This comes at a time when doctors in the public sector are on strike due to poor working conditions and substandard salaries.
The CEO Africa Round Table which is running under the theme, “Zimbabwe is Open for Business: Agenda 2040” brings chief executives from private and public companies to share experiences and best practices with a view to turning around the economic fortunes of the country.
