We the Future Journalism Project for Young women mentorship programme
Are you a young lady between the ages of 18- 25?
Are you interested in writing for the web, social media, video filming, radio and journalistic expression?
Do you hope to develop skills in blogging, digital storytelling and learn how use social media for social change?
The Center for Innovation and Technology is offering a one year mentorship programme on digital journalism to women between the ages of 18-25 years who are out of school and passionate about storytelling. The programme begins from January to December 2018. The key objective is to equip young women with skills in digital and social media, as a tool to promote digital artivism and advocacy thus bridging the gender digital divide currently faced in the global south.
Selected participants will contribute monthly to #Tag magazine and become a part of the team of presenters and producers at Asakhe online.
This mentorship programme is particularly for young women in Bulawayo and it is on a voluntary basis.
